Emergency help! How to switch on electricity?
Today is a bank holiday so everything is closed (including the electricity company and my landlord’s office). I just moved into my new appartment and I have no gas and no electricity. I need urgent help because I am on a deadline and have important work to do on my computer.
I have signed up for electricity and gas with the company already so normally it should already work. My accounts are up to date.
I found both the gas control box and the electricity fuse box and I can’t switch on any of them!! I mostly need electricity right now.
SO I tried switching on the switches in the electric fuse box, including the bigger one (for overall control). The lights are not working, neither are the electric plugs.
Since I have already signed up for gas and electricity, I suppose that there’s a problem with the fusebox. The problem is that I can’t remove the fuses from the box to see if they are the problem. They’re like stuck inside the fusebox. Is there a problem with wiring?
